Profile/Summary Section

Your summary should grab attention in 3-5 lines. Think of it as your 30-second elevator pitch that highlights your specialization, years of experience, and biggest selling points.

Skip the generic "dedicated professional seeking opportunity" language. Instead, try something like: "Series 7 & 66 licensed Financial Advisor with 6+ years managing $17M in client assets, specializing in retirement planning for healthcare professionals."

Professional Experience

This is where you'll spend most of your resume real estate. For each position, include:

  • Company name, location, your title, and dates (month/year)
  • 3-6 bullet points showcasing achievements (not just responsibilities)
